Greetings fellow SBA Members and Friends,
I am honored to again serve as the Captain of Justinian. I am proud to announce that Sandra Monroe is our very first Co-Captain. On behalf of the Krewe, we I cordially invite you to join us in our 32nd year. This year we will be celebrating “A New Orleans State of Mind”. Our Coronation will reflect the rich history of New Orleans Garden District. Our Grand Bal will celebrate the formal side of New Orleans as we become “Lost in the Masquerade”. Both of our Bals will be held in the Horseshoe Riverdome and feature the best in entertainment.
As a committee of the SBA, the Krewe has two core missions. Our professional mission seeks to bring our local lawyers together in a social, fun-loving atmosphere that helps build camaraderie and foster relationships within the legal community. Our philanthropic mission seeks to provide financial support for the Shreveport Bar Foundation. The SBF serves the community through various programs, including the Pro Bono Project, Self-Represented Litigants My Community Cares, and the Legal Representation for Victims of Domestic Violence. These programs are invaluable in supporting the legal needs of our low-income community and those in crisis.ve not already joined the Krew for our 32nd year, please join today!!! By becoming a member of the Krewe of Justinian XXXII, you receive TWO tickets for you and a guest to our Coronation Bal, our Grand Bal, and our Royalty Brunch.
Also, as a member, you will be joining with the Krewe of Justinian in its mission to raise funds that support the amazing work of the Shreveport Bar Foundation. Since its inception, the Krewe of Justinian has contributed well over $250,000.00 through the efforts of its members.
The Krewe has something for everyone! We look forward to an amazing year and sincerely hope that you will join us in our mission to promote professionalism, philanthropy, and Mardi Gras revelry.
